The long-awaited album, which was released three days, has gotten appreciation from the rapper’s social media fans as well as other music fans, with some praising some of the musicians with whom he collaborated on some of the album’s songs.

Among the eleven musicians who contributed to the ‘No Pressure’ album are Wale, Vic Mensa, Giggs, Cassper Nyovest, Harmonize, Kwesi Arthur, Benerl, Darkovibes, Medikal, Oxlade, and MOG .

The “No Pressure” album was produced by Kojo Farinella, Kayso, Altranova, Certified Bangers, MOG, BeatFreaks, Rexxie, Coublon, and Kaywa, executively produced by KJ Spio and Sarkodie.

During an interview on Hitz FM with Ace Broadcaster, Andy Dosty, Sarkodie revealed that he named the album “No Pressure” because he worked based on his own will and capabilities, not from the pressure from his fans,

According to him, pressure from fans and other music lovers with regards to their expectations might corrupt the artiste’s creativity and he or she might not be able to put out the best.

‘I believe in going at my own pace, making sure I don’t skip the process and take my time. A lot of artists have lost what they possess due to the pressure from the people and what is expected of them”, Sarkodie said.

However, he said criticism is allowed but he would prefer to go at his own pace than to be pressured by his fans.
