Young Ghanaian musician, Thorsten Owusu Gyimah who is known as Yaw Tog has bagged a nomination at the EMY Africa Awards.
This comes after he received awards at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Awards (VGMA) and the 3Music Awards.

His rise to fame has been very unique considering how he has been accepted by Ghanaians. This also comes after he recently released a 7-track EP dubbed My Time.
He becomes the youngest nominee in this year’s awards scheme as he was nominated in the Best Discovery of The Year category.

He would be seeking to beat stiff competition popular Ghanaian YouTuber, Wode Maya as well as renowned personalities like Steve French and Kwabena Offei-Kwadey Nkrumah.
The list of nominees for the 6th EMY Africa Awards 2021 was announced at the official launch event on 31st July.
