Yaw Tog has unarguably become the brightest spot from the pool of Kumasi rappers and singers who generically call themselves Kumericans.
This is breeding some form of animosity between Yaw Tog’s fans and the Asaaka Boys whose fame has waned considerably.
For this reason, when Yaw Tog flew to London for the first time in his life and also appeared on Tim Westwood’s program- it sparked an interesting debate amongst their respective fans on Twitter.
Yaw Tog has thus become the youngest artist from Ghana to be featured by Tim Westwood on Capital Radio. Amerado, Yaw Tog and Kweku Flick hopped into the studio after their successful ‘Ghana Party in Park’ concert held in London.
Tim Westwood is a British DJ and presenter of radio and television. He is often referred to by other DJs and artists appearing on his shows simply as Westwood. He presented the MTV UK show Pimp My Ride UK. In 2013, Westwood left BBC Radio 1 and BBC Radio 1Xtra after nearly twenty years and returned to Capital Radio (Wikipedia).
