Parliament to hear Kennedy Agyapong’s Contempt Case

Parliament is expected to hear a contempt case against the New Patriotic Party’s Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong.

The contempt case was brought against Mr Agyapong by the National Democratic Congress’ Member of Parliament for Tamale North Constituency, Suhuyini Alhassan Sayibu.

Parliament is therefore scheduled to hear the case on Thursday, August 5, 2021.

A statement signed by the Principal Assistant Clerk of Parliament’s Committee of Privileges, Akua Durowaa Owusu-Agyekum made this known.

The House has therefore requested Mr Sayibu to provide evidence on the matter and to appear before the committee during the hearing.
