The new LGBTQ law drafted in parliament aims at eradicating the practice of homosexuality in the country that goes against the culture and morals of the land.
Ghanaian Politician, Sam Dzata George who has spearheaded the movement for same-sex relationships to be criminalized in the country has been lambasted by some LGBTQ advocates like Sister Derby, Kwadwo Sheldon, and Pappy Kojo following his stance to have the bill passed.
However, that their attacks against him and the movement are politically inclined but that wouldn’t stop him from passing the bill.
Speaking in an interview on Cape Coast-based Kastle FM. Kofi Mole revealed that he does not support the legalization of same-sex relationships because it is unnatural and against God’s principles.
However, he lamented that there are more important issues facing that country like the economic hardship endured by the average Ghanaian so the anti-gay law will not in any way subside that factor.
“But as we know, this anti-gay law is not what will make the hike in the price of Kenkey to be reduced”, he said in the interview.
