Some Ghanaian celebrities seemed unhappy over how the Member of Parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Sam Dzata George is fighting against the legalization of LGBTQ.
The MP is leading a Private Member Bill to criminalize the practice of homosexuality as the LGBTQi community have proposed for legalization.

Well, as it stands now many people feel the country shouldn’t be prioritizing the criminalization of someone’s sexuality as Ghana need to be fixed.
Sam George took to Twitter to thank people for supporting the course to criminalize homosexuality in Ghana.
He wrote, “I have been overwhelmed by the massive support even here on a very ‘liberal’ platform like Twitter for our Bill on the LGBTQI+ menace. Homosexuality is NOT a human right. It is a sexual preference. Preferences are not absolute or unregulated. We SHALL pass this Bill through”
Some celebrities have however gone after the Member of Parliament for leading the course but it’s skeptical if these personalities are against it because they’re part of the LGBTQi community or they feel there are other serious things that the country need to be focused on.

I am struggling to understand what the promoters of this Bill seek to achieve. Perhaps, it is what will fix the myriad of problems we are facing as a country like finding jobs for the youth and fixing our roads. https://t.co/vvQ7g3N2Br

Sam says to be “worthy” to rant against politicians/people in power you must have a workable solution.
Don’t you campaign on the basis that you have solutions to problems and when elected will fix them.
“You too are you also homosexual?”🤔
because you seem obsessed with them. https://t.co/C0z6eCRtrw

just by fighting for Ghanaians whose lives YOU are endangering, I consider myself far more successful than you. https://t.co/3J9UjwLHsH
