Yvonne Nelson has dragged Ghana-based Nigerian blogger Yemmey Baba for falsely publishing that she has secretly married an Italian man.
The viral story which was reshared by several online portals including www.Ghbase.com- has angered the actress and filmmaker.

Without hesitation, Yvonne Nelson has proceeded with legal action against the blogger while asking him to retract and apologize for the fake news he propagated.
In Ghase.com’s version of the story, we reported;
“Yvonne Nelson, known for being utterly discreet with her private life has pulled up another surprise again after she allegedly got married to an unnamed man.
The venue of the marriage and who she got married to still remain a mystery as the one who first leaked this information online never provided any further detail.
Media personality and actress Regina Adu Safowaah was actually the one who dropped the hint by sending a congratulatory message to Yvonne Nelson and patting her on the shoulder for going ‘private’ with the nuptial.
Safowaah posted a picture of the mother of one who looked beautiful in a red dress and bursting with smiles.
“Congratulations, odo,” Safowaa said in the description of her picture. I’m madly in love with you. The right to privacy prevails. #HappyMarriedlife.“
Well, Yvonne is saying that is not true prompting the blogger to retract and apologize for his malicious publication.
