Ghanaian rapper Okese 1 has slammed Ghanian musicians as he describes them as greedy people and also people with selfish interests.
During an interview on an Accra-based radio station, Kingdom Plus Fm, Okesi 1 told the host Fiifi Pratt that most musicians and the industry players are only interested in their own well-being and their selfish interest but not the growth of the music industry.

According to Okese one, a lot of musicians do not support other musicians in the industry especially those upcoming artists. He said that ever since he came into the music industry, nobody has supported him or made any attempt to raise him up as a form of motivation.
Okese 1 also bemoaned the music players in the industry and called them a bunch of hypocrites who only lend a helping hand or reach out to you because of the money they will receive from you as compensation.

The rapper also described the behaviour of most bloggers and industry players as unfair. According to him, bloggers don’t use their blogs and pages to support a lot of artists. He has however urged the bloggers and industry players to support each other like they support the musicians for free.
