The students through their project with the help of their Chemistry tutor have generated a device called ‘G Pana Power House’ which uses soil and plant bacteria to generate electric power that can be able to power some electrical gadgets.
According to M.anifest Kumasi (Ashanti region) is beginning to get the recognition it deserves as so many exciting things are coming from the region. He said the city first produced the Asaaka Boys who have now taken over the music space and now, a school that has been able to generate electricity from plant and soil bacteria.

Now check out some of the comments from Ghanaians under the post as many believe the National Science and Maths Quiz should be ready to encourage some experimenting innovations like this and not only focusing on the theory aspect.
CLOSET @lovemesame_ido·Replying to @manifestiveAnd this is why I kept saying the national science and maths quiz shouldn’t so much hyped and have greater investment than innovation fairs all across the schools. This is what brings the students knowledge to reality and not decoding theories that cannot be brought to reality
[email protected]·Replying to @manifestivehttp://Nice.One wise man told me that if I think it’s the Akosombo Dam that’s producing the electricity, then am wrong. I now understand a bit.
Nana [email protected]_·Replying to @manifestiveDem dey disturb we plus Maths and Science Quiz saaa… just on paper, your mates Gyaama Pensen SHS are putting it into practice
Osei Akwasi [email protected]·Replying to @manifestivethe science and maths quiz should be restructured to concentrate on stuff like this… take these kids there and their school might come last… Big ups to everyone involved at Gyaama
[email protected]·Replying to @manifestiveKudos to the students and teachers. Some full grown people are on this app mocking what they learnt in school because they think being taught things like “photosynthesis” in school was useless.
