Trending sensational Ghanaian Afrobeat musician, Jackeline Acheampong, popularly known in showbiz as Gyakie has announced the release date for her next single.
According to the Flip the prodigy, the record is set to be released on August 6. Gyakie has signed an international record deal with Sony entertainment, RCA Records UK and Sony Africa.
Gyakie is well known for her chart topping hit tune; “Forever” off her extended play, “Seed” which was released in August last year, 2020. ‘Seed’ EP has amassed over 16 million views on streaming platform, Audiomack.

The gifted songbird took to micro-blogging platform, Twitter to make this announcement, in a tweet, she wrote; “NEED ME drops on 6th August, Tell a friend”.
Gyakie happens to be the daughter of veteran Ghanaian highlife act Ernest ‘Owoahene’ Nana Acheampong, popularly called Nana Acheampong who was one-half of the famous Lumba Brothers.
