President of the Songwriters Association of Ghana has urged Sarkodie to understand the fact that he has built a ‘gentle’ brand for himself that should not be associated with some social vices.

This comes after the SarkNation boss faced a lot of criticisms and heavy backlash on both the traditional media space and on various social media platforms after the rapper posted photos of himself smoking a cigar on his Instagram page.
Recall GhGossip.com made an article about a group called Civil Society Organization (CSOs) who lashed out at Sarkodie for sharing photos of himself puffing out smoke from a cigar on social media.
Discussing the topic and the backlash of Sarkodie on the ‘Day Break Hitz’ morning show hosted by Andy Dosty on Accra-based Hitz FM, Mr. Logic stated he somehow agrees with what the group and other people are saying because of how Sarkodie has branded himself.
He added that most people will be surprised to see or hear the SarkNation boss smokes, drinks, or even have a girlfriend aside from his wife Tracy because of the ‘gentle’ brand the rapper has built for himself.
He said the people who are surprised and shocked to see the ‘No Fugazy’ hitmaker posting photos like that on social media deserves to be and he totally agrees with them because of how the rapper has been carrying himself as a brand over the guys.
