Ghanaian Gospel singer, Minister OJ has shared his honest view concerning Gospel musicians collaborating with circular musicians which have become a never-ending topic.
According to OJ, they are all gifted by the same God, he sees no problem with gospel musicians partnering with secular musicians.
OJ who is regarded as one of the best songwriters in the country in an interview with Andy Dosty on the Gospel-circular collaboration disclosed that he had a song with popular Highlife musician Kwabena Kwabena that he had to remove from his “Maye Se Mo Pen” album due to contractual obligations.
OJ said during the interview on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz show that he had recorded a love song with Kwabena Kwabena, which is one of his favourite collaborations but had to hold on to its release due to what he mentioned earlier.
He claimed that he intended to release the song when his “Maye Se Mo Pen” album was about to be released, but that he had to remove it due to a scheduling conflict.
He went on to say that the songs on his album were too much for him, leading to his decision to separate the song off the album and release it on its own.
