According to Benjamin, he’s a person who has lived in two children’s homes and on the streets of Accra for many years. He said things got really hard for him to the extent that he was not having a place to sleep.

He came to the conclusion of ending his life until he started listening to some songs from the Bhim Nation president back in 2010. He said Stonebwoy’s choice of words in his songs encouraged him to never give up in life no matter what he’s going through.

Benjamin revealed that through the inspirations he picked from the ‘Putuu’ hitmaker’s songs, he’s now a graduate from Accra Polytechnic and also from NAFTI. Read the full letter below;

Dear @stonebwoyb

I’ve heard it time and time again, “God puts people in your life for a reason”. It’s a common theme, people say it all the time.. but this is something I truly believe when it comes to you and I think you need to know how big of an inspiration you really are to me.

I know that you will most likely never see this, and that’s the pain of this situation but that won’t stop
Me from writing this..To you, I am just “another fan”, but to me you are an inspiration and a god I am so proud to ever b alive to witness ur Glory.
Life has been tough, I recall my days on the street of Accra. A street boy who had no where to sleep, my days in two different orphanage homes, and when life became unbearable, I decided to take my life.

Having a second Life is something that don’t really happen to people. I started listening to ur music in 2010. Ur choice of words forming music did not only brought joy to my heart but also strength to my soul and a believe I can also make it..

Today not only am I alive, i am a proud old student of Accra polytechnic and a Film director who completed NAFTI,I am also blessed with a craft. Just as I take a bold step to sell my craft to the world I want to say thank you, thank You for inspiring me.

Looking for 1000 ways to show my gratitude knowing there is nothing I can offer in person which u don’t already have I decided to have ur image in my garden.. I am grateful and will forever b

#bhim
