Ghanaian Reggae/ Dancehall musician Epixode has revealed that winning the Reggae/ Dancehall artist of the Year is part of the process and his dreams.

Recall Epixode emerged as the winner of the Reggae/ Dancehall artist of the Year at the just-ended 22nd edition of the prestigious Vodafone Ghana Awards which was held at the Accra International Conference Center.
Speaking with Sammy Flex on the ‘ Agenda’ show this morning on Zylofon radio and television, Epixode revealed it has always been his dream and part of the process he has been through to win the prestigious award.
He said although he’s not an artist who is so much into the idea of winning awards to prove a point that he’s good, this award means a lot to him because of what he stands for, his ideologies as a Reggae/ Dancehall artist,e and the things he has been through as an artist to get to where he is right now.
The ‘Odeshi’ crooner stated that the award represents the struggle and the difficulties up and coming artists from the ‘Ghetto’ goes through hence motivated him to dedicated the award to them when he went on stage to claim the award.
He revealed he’s working on a project to help these struggling Ghetto youths to get on their feet through a foundation he’s building up and urged corporate Ghana to help him achieve this dream of lifting people from the coastal areas.
