D’Tigers of Nigeria secured an upset victory against the United States in a pre-Olympic basketball friendly in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sunday morning.
Nigeria won 90-87, becoming the first African nation to beat the USA.
Nigeria’s win comes nine years after the United States crushed the Nigerians 156-73 at the London Olympics.

On the Nigerian rooster, were seven NBA players and head coach, Mike Brown, a former NBA head coach.
Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant led the Americans with 17 points.
