Popular Entertainment Critic, Mr Logic has waded into the rising Yaw Tog-Stormzy beef after the former stated that he made UK rapper Stormzy more popular in Ghana after he put him on his ‘Sore’ remix.
Yaw Tog is currently on the chopping board over his “I made Stormzy more popular in Ghana” comment on TV3 with MzGee.
Speaking about this historic collaboration with the UK rap star known for the drill genre, Yaw Tog on TV3 during his interview with MzGee was told that people say he made Stormzy more popular in Ghana.
The TV presenter asked Yaw Tog if this is true and he said: “ok yeah I will say he made me more popular in this market, I made him more popular here too because people didn’t know Stormzy in Ghana here so we both did magic to ourselves”.
According to Mr Logic on Hitz FM, Yaw Tog‘s comments were unfortunate because music lovers in Ghana knew Stormzy before he even jumped on the ‘Sore’ remix.
How will Stormzy feel after hearing Yaw Tog’s comment that he made him more popular in Ghana? He will feel bad obviously.
