Shatta Wale has been in the various news portals and in the Ghanaian media space over some comments he made about the ongoing #FixTheCountry protest by some Ghanaian youth in the country.
The ‘My Level’ hitmaker yesterday in several posts on Facebook and on Twitter slammed the youth and those encouraging them to get on the streets and protest against the government whiles the police and the military has started shooting protesters.
The leader of arguably one of the biggest music fan base in Ghana, Shatta Movement has been facing the wrath of most Ghanaians after he described the demonstrators of the #FixTheCountry protest as ‘unemployed graduate’.
He also urged the youth to start thinking of getting jobs rather than participating in these demonstrations which may end up bad for most of them.
You are there watching bullets enter people’s children and you still screaming fix the country .. Let’s stop this it won’t end well .. I DONT WANT NO WAR !!! #AYOO
Kwaw Kese reacting to the social media rants by Shatta Wale slammed him stating that the ongoing #FixTheCountry protest is not about war. He added if the country is fixed, the military would not shoot at innocent demonstrators.
The MadTime Entertainment record label boss urged Shatta Wale to shut up if he has nothing better to say about the protest to Ghanaians.
Fixing country is not about war my guy, When a country is fixed soldiers would not shoot at innocent protesters. Sometimes if you get nothing to say just shut up #FixingTheCountryGhana#FixTheCountryNow
