According to Lydia Forson each and every one has a voice and if you on the right coarse and focused, it will be heard so the youth should rather rely on their own voices than putting their hopes in celebrities to be their spokespersons.

This comes after Ghanaian Dancehall musician Shatta Wale adding his voice and opinion to the ongoing #FixTheCountry protest attacked the youth for protesting rather than looking for jobs to do.

Shatta Wale described the youth protesting as some unemployed graduates who has nothing to do but to try and fight the government and the system they know nothing about.

Ms. Forson reacting to social media going wild over the comments by the ‘Ayoo’ hitmaker stated its about time the youth realized celebrities in the country can not be their spokespersons in championing their movement hence the need to use their own voice.

She added some social media users are just looking for persons to channel their anger and frustrations towards which shouldn’t be case the case because it will make them loose focus of the main agenda.

Celebrities are NOT your problem, so instead of directing your energy at them, direct it at the people who matter to this cause. Stop constantly looking for people to be your spokesperson when you have a voice. The people in #EjuraProtest weren’t celebrities.

Some of you are just looking for someone to direct your anger at; but sorry I’m the wrong target. Me that I’ve been saying speaking up for years on these issues I’m saying let’s focus on what’s important suddenly you want to attack me, what for exactly? smh
