Ghanaian singer Darkovibes has declared Sarkodie as the best rapper alive.
This is a bold statement coming in from him after taking everything into consideration.
The debate on who actually is the best rapper in Ghana has been ongoing for a while now. While some pick Obrafour, Okomfour Kwadee, Okyeame Kwame or Tinny as their best rappers, others believe either Sarkodie, M.anifest, Omar Sterling, or Strongman is their respective favourites.
However, nobody has disputed the fact that Sarkodie has really lifted the face of Ghanaian rap especially with how he has commercializedd the “Twi” dialect and sold it out to music lovers around the world.
Sarkodie is arguably the most decorated rapper on the continent. He is the rapper with the most awards and recognitions in Africa and the first-ever rapper to win the international Flow of the Year Award at the Black Entertainment Television awards.
Sarkodie has certainly set himself apart from his competitors therefore, it is no surprise that Darkovibes has unequivocally declared the Sarkcess CEO as the best rapper alive…putting all arguments to bed.
