June 17 (UPI) — Most lanes of a Toronto highway were closed while police attempted to capture a llama found running loose in traffic.
The Ontario Provincial Police’s Highway Safety Division said the llama was spotted running loose Wednesday evening on Highway 400.
All lanes of the highway were closed except the southbound HOV lane during the unusual chase.
Police said the llama was safely captured and was soon returned to its owner.
