Over the years, Dada Hafco and other well known legendary Highlife musicians has been championing the agenda of promoting the one genre of music, which is ‘Highlife music’ in the country and the diaspora. And this agenda has been met with a lot of ‘issues’ surrounding it.

Mr Logic, who disagrees with the motive of promoting one genre of music in Ghana as the identity of Ghanaian music today cited that the idea of promoting only Highlife music from Ghana to the world ‘doesn’t make sense’.

This topic came up when Mr Logic was making his submission on Hitz FM’s ‘Day Break Hitz’ show hosted by disc jockey and musician Andy Dosty this morning on the Shatta Wale’s idea of pushing for an identity in Ghanaian music.

According to Mr Logic, he agrees with Shatta Wale to promote a cultural identity for Ghanaian music to the world rather than promoting a ‘useless’ agenda of promoting Highlife music alone to the world stage as been propagated by Dada Hafco.

Dada Hafco who wasn’t part of the panel guest didn’t take the comments from Mr Logic lightly and decided to respond to him by calling on the show.

In Dada Hafco’s submission, he tagged Mr Logic of been confused because Shatta Wale id now championing the same agenda he has been campaigning for years, but when he met with Mr Logic at the studios of Hitz FM, he disagreed with him and even tagged his agenda as ‘useless’.

The two both engaged themselves in a back and forth argument throwing shades at each other until the host of the show Andy Dosty caught them off.
