Renowned Ghanaian entertainment journalist, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo has revisited the brouhaha that ensued between him and Ghanaian musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah who is widely known as Shatta Wale on Saturday.

It could be recalled that the two personalities nearly threw blows on live TV during UTV’s United program as Shatta Wale addressed an earlier comment made by Arnold about him.

A lot have been said and during an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM on Monday morning, Arnold said;

“Going into the program, I knew Shatta Wale came for me. I knew he would be a distraction and act all the way through and I engineered it in my mind that he will not distract my thoughts.

Everyone knows those sneakers were not GHS 2.50. It would be outrageous —how much is Alewa?

I have responded to Hammer once. I will not offer him another response because I do not want to lose the respect I have for him. He is a legend and he has paid his dues.

How is being confused and inconsistent derogatory? When your thoughts are illogical, it is confusion —and confusion goes with inconsistency.

I find it high level of hypocrisy when people like Hammer say I was harsh on Shatta Wale. I backed my statement with evidence that Shatta was confused and inconsistent based on certain things he said before, and now.”
