Entertainment Pundit, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo has revealed what his deepest regret is as far as his work as an entertainment critic is concerned.
According to him, he feels so bad for alleging without any proof that musician Samini actually slept with his former manager, Lawrencia Thompson [Then, Lawrencia Duah] back in the days.
In an exclusive interview with Ghbase hosted by DNA, Arnold narrated that in 2006 he worked as an editor for an entertainment newspaper called the Weekly Newspaper and they wrote a story about Kwabena Kwabena’s first divorce.
Since Kwabena Kwabena was not happy with the publication because it had some exclusive information they got from his former wife concerning how the marriage came crashing down, he employed a friend in the media to rubbish their story.
According to Arnold, Lawrencia Thompson, who was then the manager of Samini went on TV3 to drag them and refute the authenticity of their story. He added that Lawrencia went on to rubbish the paper and cast a slur on their work.
Out of sheer emotions, Arnold wrote an editorial to rebut the claim made by Lawrencia Thompson and added that she had slept with Samini without any proof.
According to him, he wrote the story out of anger and made such an allegation that was not factual thus he regrets it and feels so bad about the entire experience.
Arnold Asamoah Baidoo who is also an Aviation Specialist said that is one of his biggest regrets as an Entertainment critic and feels so reserved about it. He added that he has smoked the peace pipe with Samini’s former manager, Lawrencia Thompson but it does not take away the guilt.
