Over the years, some Ghanaian talents have made it to the nomination list with a few winning the prestigious award. So far, Sarkodie and S tonebwoy have been the only two Ghanaians to win from the award scheme.
It is at the back of this that Ground Up’s Kwesi Arthur has stated that Ghanaians would have made it to the list this year if only they had put in more works and energy just as the nominees did.
Per his point of view, no one in Ghana deserves to be nominated because he believes that the likes of Burna Boy, Davido, Wizkid, and other African acts who secured nominations for themselves worked hard to achieve that goal.
The BET nominee further stated that Ghanaian artistes were once dominating the nomination list, putting in more works in the craft can earn us that recognition once more.
Meanwhile, American rapper, Lil Uzi Vert is finally parting ways with his $24 million pink diamond that was implanted on his forehead.
Recall in February, the rapper made it to the headlines after videos went viral with captures him wearing an 11-karat gem on his forehead, bragging of its magical powers.
Well, in a recent video, the rapper was seen with his girlfriend, JT kissing and dancing but the rapper was no longer wearing the diamond on his forehead.
