INFORMATION AVAILABLE to DGN Online indicates that one person has been confirmed dead in the early Friday morning accident which occurred on the Accra-Tema motorway.
Six other persons sustained various degrees of injuries in the accident involving two commercial mini buses and a petroleum product haulage truck.
According to Commander Motorway Fire Station, DFO Richmond Vanderpuye, the accident on June 4, 2021 about 6:04am near Ashaiman under bridge left a Man diesel fuel tanker with registration number AS 8113-11 and Hyundai H100 bus with passengers also registered GT 3766-16 totally damaged.
However, a Benz Sprinter bus with registration number AW 1821-14 which had passengers on board partially damaged.
The Commander mentioned that the cause of the accident was still under investigation.
