The 2021 edition of the Citi Business Festival starts today, Tuesday June 1, 2021, with an array of radio and TV programmes.
The month-long festival of business events and on-air activities provides inspiration, business ideas and information for persons who are starting, building or growing their businesses.
This year’s Citi Business Festival will feature virtual business fora and will be live on Citi TV.
The virtual business fora will touch on five carefully selected themes namely, The Digital Economy; building a cashless society and the opportunities for businesses and job creation. This will be live on Citi TV on the 1st of June, 2021 between 11:00am and 2:00pm.
The MSME forum follows on the 8th of June, 2021 at 11:00am. It looks at understanding regulatory compliance and standardization.
The Agribusiness Forum comes off on Tuesday, 15th June, 2021 from 11:00am- 2:00pm. Topics to be discussed include opportunities in agricultural production, agricutural value chain and agro processing.
The Trade forum comes off on Tuesday, 22nd June, 2021 from 11:00am- 2:00pm. Topics to be discussed include AfCFTA – opportunities for investment and job creation in Ghana.
On the 29th of June, 2021, there will be a forum to discuss issues within the Oil and Gas sector.
Meanwhile, the on-air series is themed to correspond with the various virtual fora.
