In other news published on ghgossip.com, ace Ghanaian footballer and a midfielder for the Ghana Black Stars, Derrick Boateng has allegedly been arrested by the police for overspeeding.
Per reports, Derrick Boateng was one of 35 drivers detained in Accra for different traffic offenses during a combined operation by the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD), and the Bloomberg Philanthropies Initiative for Global Road Safety (BIGRS) on the Olusegun Obasanjo Way and J A Kufour Avenue.
These drivers were arrested for driving at speeds above the 50 km/hr limit permitted in the city.
Well, in the course of the week, a video has been sighted on social media which captures the moment the ace footballer was pleading with the officer to pardon him for his violations.
