Ghanaian musician, Kwabena Kwabena has stated that most of the people he trusted ended up betraying him.

The talented musician made this known in a recent interview he had with Andy Dosty on his DayBreak Hitz program aired on Hitz FM.

In his submission, he said;

“The conversations I had with my dad when he was alive taught me that we had music running in the family. My grandfather had a guitar back in the day – The music was in the family.

The greatest thing an artiste would ever have is a management team that actually cares, that would be there when the artiste is down and not run away. A team that looks out for the artiste.

There’s also another side of the coin where the artiste is ungrateful to the management team. Most of the people I trusted to work with, who ended up betraying me, ended their working relationship with me through text messages.

I am so grateful to the fans who jammed to my old songs. I got my strength from posts on social media of people dancing and singing my old songs.

I’ve learnt to be a survivor. The criticism are normal. You can have an opinion about something but do not include insults. Attach a little wisdom to your words. That’s one thing I have noticed about some Ghanaians. We can be quite abusive.”
