The media personality made this known in a recent post she made on her official social media handle on Facebook.

According to her, at least once a week water doesn’t but every month, she receives a bill adding that others go days without water for days, weeks and months, yet they receive bills.

She stated that the situation is ridiculous and it’s quite embarrassing. she made reads;

“At least once a week they turn off the water but every month they bring me water bill. Some areas haven’t seen water for days, weeks even months. We say fix the country then some incompetent people will say fix yourself. I had no idea fixing myself will give me flowing water! This is ridiculous and it’s it’s quite embarrassing! My friends and family keep telling me to come back home to America but Ghana is my home. Why must I flee to another mans land just get the basic things to live? I was born in Ghana and I should be able to live comfortably in Ghana”

Ghanaians took to the comments section to share their thoughts as well;

Nanaadjeisikapa Elikplim Emmanuel – It’s very common to come across pipe lines that have burst by some careless activities of people. We end loosing thousands of gallons of water for nothing and we walk and pass by as if it does not concern us at all, forgetting that this same water is what we expect when we open our taps. In some localities they take advantage and fetch from that point for free without notifying the authorities or reporting the situation. This could go on for several days.Sometimes when a good Samaritan does well to alert the authorities it could take them days to come and fix the problem meanwhile that is what they’ve been assigned to do and are being for with the taxpayer’s money.In one way or the other we all need to fix our attitude someway somehow.I support the movement for #fixthecountry💯

Waakye-Two Cedis Shito-Bebree – We live in a country where state institutions work poorly From GES, GWC, Ghana Police service, DVLA etcMost of the workers over there pay huge sums of money just to get employed So incompetence is very high in those state institutions Y’agyimi ruff! *In Twene Jonas’s voice*

Kodua Amankwa – we always hire white coaches for our black stars cuz we all know our own can’t do it , so we should hire the whites to come and fix this country again. I dnt think after 68 years of independence any black can fix it .

Saviour Afya Owusua – God bless you angel 😇 even if your concern and effort becomes in vain , u’ll still be remembered as a great queen and a concern citizen 👑👑💗 Bless up queen 👑👑❤️

Pøùñdz Stērlìñg – In our house we don’t have water for the past one week now . It’s our right to enjoy our country.if not Ghana we have no place to go. The road to Bawku hmm people are dying every day . The politician use to follow the same road to come and do politics and follow the same road and go back to their cities. It’s is not fair #fixthecountrynow✊✊

Sophia Adeti – Water which suppose to be a basic necessity has become a luxury to many. Lot of places here in Accra still don’t have water in their homes ooo how much more other part of the country. Middle East countries with deserts koraa can boast of water.

Rapid Valentine – Kweiman African Housing, its been five days water don’t flow from our taps, and there is no river to fetch from, hmm we are really sick in this country #FixTheCountryGhanaNow

Ernest Ahenkorah Arthur – At times i don’t understand something oo. That some of you Efia Odo who are lucky to live and work abroad still decide to come back to this our Country to suffer with us. Me Kwame Ernest if i get the opportunity to travel out …3noa nono..No turning back..Hw3

Waakye-Two Cedis Shito-Bebree – In this 21st century we still live in a country which cannot provide water for a year straight for its citizens.If you tell this to obronii how are they gonna believe you??Na those living in deserts kraa get uninterrupted water supply Y’agyimi saaaaaaaa

NaNa-Quajo Jason – It’s because we are in a country that we politicise everything not knowing we are the victims of these politiciansUntil we all deal with issues as it is this country can n will never move forward Efia Agyeiwaa 🔥🔥🔥#FixtheCountry
