Talented rapper, Amerado Burner has said that it is very disrespectful to compare award-winning rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, aka Sarkodie to budding star, Yaw Tog.

Although Yaw Tog has proven himself a wealthy opponent in the rap game, Amerado thinks it is absurd to rate him with the likes of Sarkodie who has been in the game for over two decades and still counting.
Speaking in an interview on Graphic , Amerado claims that the contrast being made in some quarters between Yaw Tog, an emerging Ghanaian rapper, and rap legend Sarkodie is completely unjustified.
Citing a typical example, Amerado said that the fact that legends like Daddy Lumba and Amakye Dede are no longer reigning like they used to, does not make Kuami Eugene and Kidi better than them.
“The fact that Daddy Lumba or Amakye Dede is no longer releasing songs does not make Kuami Eugene or KiDi better than them. It is quite unfortunate that this is going on in our industry and it is not fair. How can you compare Yaw Tog to Sarkodie as some industry persons are already doing?,
he quizzed.
He said that such a comparison will make the new school disrespect the old school because they will think they have reached their prime.
“These young acts will start feeling they have arrived and disrespect the old ones, which should not be so. You cannot compare King Promise to Kwabena Kwabena or Ofori Amponsah in any way,” he noted.
Also touching on his reason for walking out of the studios of Kingdom FM, Amerado stated that the question about whether he can compete with Sarkodie was uncalled.
He disclosed that any statement he uttered on the show could have sent wrong signals to the fans of Sarkodie, either he doesn’t respect him or afraid of him.
