It can be very difficult for a celebrity who was once an A-lister to come to the realisation that they are not as famous as before.

Consequently, many are forced to do some crazy things just to get attention from the entertainment industry and former fans. But the thing is: they are just not going to make it like they used to.

Many of these celebrities have tried to make a comeback, but they are not actually accomplishing anything significant for the industry.

And in the studios of Kumasi-based Nhyira Fm, Ruthy made mention of Ghanaian artistes who are struggling to find their feet in the game currently, therefore, she feels they hang up their singing microphones and venture into other stuff.

  1. Opanka

Rapper Dadie Opanka was the icing on the cake or better still delightful to watch and listen to in the days of freestyles.

Thus, the time Sarkodie and Tema rappers were on fire. But Opanka switching from freestyle kind of music to do mainstream music was a curse for obvious reasons.

As we speak, Opanka is seriously bleeding as he has done everything humanly possible to bounce back stronger, but it seems destiny won’t help him any longer.

And now, Opaka has been using his social media platforms to support Chelsea FC and we don’t know if he wants to venture into football administration.

  1. E.L

After being crowned as 2016 Vodafone Ghana Awards’ Artiste of The Year, the music life and journey of the EL have never been the same!

He has tried severally to bounce back with the release of unpopular albums christened “B.A.R”, but hell no. So, Ruthy suggest EL concentrates on the production of beats for his colleagues who are doing serious music.

  1. Guru NKZ

The influx of “Azonto” did magic for rapper Guru NKZ. However, when Azonto was reduced to nothingness, the relevancy of Guru NKZ in Ghana Industry has been reduced to nothingness perhaps the reason why he sits on Twitter 24/7 lately dishing out motivations and funny quotes.

Guru not long ago tried to ride on Kuami Eugene to stage a comeback, however, things couldn’t work. He has dropped a couple of songs like three (3) songs, but none is topping the charts.

Perhaps, it’s at the back of this that Nhyhira FM’s Ruthy says Guru NKZ shoukd imitate the likes of Bullet and Richie and concentrate on supreme artiste management.

  1. Tinny

The ‘Makola kwakwe’ hitmaker was a trailblazer in his day with his stunning litany of songs and mastery of the stage. Then followed the dark days of anonymity. He has tried to stay relevant with a couple of decent songs but it is all too obvious his best days are behind him.

  1. Berose 3Sixty formerly Nana Boroo

Nana Boroo whose debut single ‘Aha y3 d3′ rocked the music scene failed to counter the song years after.

Not long ago, Berose 3Sixty resurfaced with wearing wigs, however, every effort to become the talk of Ghana has failed as no hot song was released from his camp.

Therefore, Ruthy suggested that Berose 3Sixty formerly Nana Boroo should hang up his microphone forever and consider venturing into other stuff including wigs production as he’s now a lover of wearing wigs.
