Wendy Shay believes while everybody is calling for the country to get fixed, more attention must be paid to cyberbullying on social media.
According to her, cyberbullying and related acts are more harmful than the erratic supply of electricity popularly called “Dumsor”.
Wendy Shay, who is arguably the most trolled artiste in Ghana, believes cyberbullying needs to be fixed so social media will be a great place for everyone.
She believes the abuse, namecalling and trolls on social media do harm the immediate recipient and caused emotional and psychological trauma which is worse and dire than “Dumsor” and other national problems.
In a tweet that comes off the back of the #FixTheCountry campaign, Wendy Shay appealed to all to fix cyberbullying while every other thing is also being fixed.
“We have a lot to fix as a Nation. Can we also fix cyber bullying on Twitter Facebook and Instagram ? Dumsor needs to be fixed But personally cyber bullying has done me more harm than dumsor #fixeverything”
