Africa’s best female rapper and reigning Best Rapper at 2021 3Music Awards, Eno Barony has disclosed that God is actually a woman WHICH she highlighted in her new single of the same title.
When JoyNews’ Becky caught up with her for an exclusive interview, the award-winning plus-sized rapper said women represent a lot of positive things which needed to be emphasized.
“When I say God is a woman, I don’t mean biblically. I look at the many attributes of women including their bodies serving as food for babies after birth with all the beautiful emotions. What women represent makes it look like they are “God” on earth. She added that when it comes to rap music, she is the “God”!
“I’m also saying God is a woman musically because, currently, the “God” of rap music is a woman and that’s Eno Barony”
Born Ruth Eno Adjoa Amankwah Nyame Adom, Eno Barony burst onto the scene after she made a ‘refix’ of Joey B’s ‘Tonga’ song in 2014.
In other news, Iconic rapper, Sarkodie has finally reacted to the new political movement, ‘Fix the country’ which started off on social media a few days ago.
The #Fixthecountry is designed to put pressure on the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) under the stewardship of Nana Akufo Addo. The campaigners want the government to bring the country back on track following the worsening economic conditions and decline in the living standards of the citizens.
A lot of celebs have joined the train as pressure mounts on the government each day to alleviate the suffering of the masses. Sarkodie who bashed the Mills and Mahama’s administration when they were supposedly not meeting the expectation of Ghanaians, was singled out for criticisms after he remained indifferent about the new campaign.
