Ghanaian singer, Dennis Nana Dwamena, aka Kidi has expressed his gratitude to people who never hesitate to constructively advise him despite his growth in the industry.

Speaking in a recent interview on YF with Brown Berry on the ‘Ryse N ShYne’ show, Kidi said that he is grateful to people who saw his humble beginning and still corrected him when he was wrong which is probably one of the main reasons he has been successful in the music industry.
He said that he likes to keep such people closer because they saw his humble beginning as a musical artiste and they always keep him grounded.
“I like to keep people who knew me from the start closer because those are the ones that keep me grounded because they saw you before everything. So sometimes when you are doing something wrong, they are the ones who will alert you. I don’t even want their behavior towards me to change. I want it to remain the same no matter how big I get. I just want people to see me as Nana Dwamena”,
he said.
He also spoke about his growth in the industry and how he has been comfortable over the years, having confidence in himself and doing the most out of whatever comes his way.
“The growth has been amazing. When I started I was still trying to find myself and where I fit in; what I should be doing and what is expected of me but right now, I am getting more and more comfortable in my space. It is good to see the growth”, Kidi stated.
He also stated that it is important to go through all the phases of life in order to grow well since no one can be perfect no matter the circumstances.
