US-based Ghanaian gospel musician Dr. Sonnie Badu has explained why he fires back at people who bash him on social media.

The leader and founder of the Rock Hill Church became a subject of criticism following his Doctorate Degree issues that became a subject matter on social media.
After it came out that the various honorary Degrees and PhDs bagged by Sonnie Badu are all FAKE, he went berserk by cursing left, right and centre via unprintable words on Instagram.
In an exclusive interview with MzGee, Sonnie said silence is not always golden. So if he deems it fit that he corrects lies peddled against him, he will do that.
He added that he is a very reserved person who only reacts when he feels that someone is up for mischief.
Sonnie answer was premised on recent comments he made to people who said his four degrees were fake.
