Actor John Dumelo has said he doubts if the NDC government would have increased taxes as the NPP has done so far since it took over the affairs of Ghana in 2016.
According to him, the NPP government has increased taxes and continue to increase taxes since it won the 2016 election and as a result, made the life of every Ghanaian hard.
Ranting on Twitter and using the perennial fuel price increment as the benchmark, John Dumleo insisted that the NDC government is more empathetic to the woes of Ghana and wouldn’t have increase taxes as the NPP has done.
“I doubt NDC would have increased the taxes on fuel by huge margins. BOST margin was increased from .03gh to .06gh last year. It’s being increased again by a 100% margin. PDM and FMM margins have also been increased,” he wrote on Twitter
This comes on the back of an earlier post made by the politician where he criticized the NPP government for increase fuel prices 8 times this year and as result putting the life of every Ghanaian in economical jeopardy.
