Ace Ghanaian songstress, Mzbel has said that one of the main reasons why she mostly invests all her income into other businesses is because she doesn’t want to go broke and suffer when she is old.

Most showbiz personalities turn to go very broke when they grow old. Some end up with severe health conditions which mostly leads to their death because they lack the funds to take proper care of themselves.
Speaking in an interview with Amasan Krakye on Kastle FM, Mzbel said that she has witnessed a lot of prominent personalities go completely broke after their career sunk.
She said that she has learnt from these personalities and their predicaments, thus her reason for investing into her businesses to avoid the same fate.
“It’s unfortunate that someone who lived a prominent life as a musician, travelled to several countries and now the person is old or sick and we have to beg for aid to help that person
“, she said.
I realized that it could be the system that doesn’t favour us so I took a break to invest in other businesses so that in future when I become old it wouldn’t be that people will have to do contribution to help me go to the hospital,”
“When you observe how some illustrious icons in Ghana become old and get sick and we have to announce for people to do donation or come to their aid, sometimes its very disgraceful, disgusting and sorrowful“, she added.
Her other reason she said that she wants to reduce the level of unemployment in the country especially graduates who have become a burden to their parents.
