Talented Highlife musician, Frank Osei who is known in showbiz as Afriyie Wutah has lamented over the length of adverts on TV these days.

According to him, these long adverts on primetime televisions are becoming annoying and he made this known in a recent post he made on his personal social media handle on Twitter.

In his view, television stations should limit the time they dedicate to adverts so that viewers can enjoy their favorite programs.

In the post, he wrote;

Afriyie in his Facebook post expressed discontent over long adverts shown o Tvs.

“Watching a primetime TV show can be very annoying lately. Producers think so little of the audience that they think the audience would tolerate 12 minutes of advertising for every 15 minutes of content. Truth is, most viewers don’t stay during the commercial breaks.

I can understand the need for advertising on commercial TV channels, but the recent increase in the number of minutes permitted per hour seems to be just too much!”

The renowned musician was part of the defunct Ghanaian music group, WUTAH. The group had to break due to the fact that they couldn’t settle their individual differences.

Somewhere last year, he was in the news as he tied the knot to his baby mama at a plush ceremony held in Accra.

After going solo, he has dropped some nice tunes including AfroJam, The One, Love of My Life, Hard Times, Sorry and Cry No More.
