The director and content creator made this submission while speaking to Papa Kumasi on Anigye Krom on Royal TV. Kofi advised that it’s paramount these bunch of comedians making a name for themselves on YouTube should be encouraged rather than criticizing their little flaws.
“I’ll encourage Ghanaians to support the Youtubers to feed us with quality contents. Now, the next crop of stars we are going to work with are them. So if you don’t get closer to them and you criticise them out of jealousy that they will not get to anywhere, by the time you realise, their price tags will be higher”.
In a related report, Dr. Likee, also known as Ras Nene has recalled that at the beginning of his career, things weren’t rosy as his girlfriend even dumped him because she said he wasn’t popular despite claiming to be an actor.
‘My friends started teasing me that I call myself an actor but they hadn’t seen a single movie of mine, even my girlfriend at the time asked me to look for another job but all that is history now,’ the actor who now prefers to be called Dr. Likee told Graphic .
Ras Nene further told Graphic that he has no role model in the movie industry, except his master Lord, Jesus Christ. His advice to the youth is for them to live like true Christians. ‘Christ is coming soon, check if your life is Christ-like, don’t go naked on social media just to become popular.
