Nigeria will face Ghana and Cote d’Ivoire in the Group stage of this year’s WAFU U-17 tournament
At a virtual draw held in Abidjan yesterday, the Flamingoes were placed in Group B alongside their familiar foes.
Nigeria, who went on after winning the zonal competition to place fourth at the 2019 U-17 AFCON, were drawn bye for yesterday’s live draw.
Tournament hosts Benin, who were also drawn bye, will face Niger, Burkina Faso, and Togo.
The tournament, which was earlier scheduled for November, will now be staged from December 5 to 20, 2020.
