Nana Appiah Mensah aka NAM1 is addressed the press few minutes ago and answered salient questions from journalists that have to do with the protracted Menzgold debacle.
We have compiled 5 key areas we deducted from the press conference.
#1. I’m Not Bothered By ‘Fraud’ Tag
One journalist from Daily Guide asked the embattled Menzgold boss how he feels about the ‘fraud’ tag hovering over his head and the fact that it’s has dented his reputation.
A calm NAM1 said he’s not bothered at all and that his main focus is to redeem himself by paying the customers and clearing his name.
He added that even Jesus Christ was persecuted in his native land so the best way to answer his critics is to pay his investors and get himself out of entangled web.
#2. Mengold is not a ponzi scheme
NAM1 said his business enterprise is not a ponzi scheme as widely believed. He emphasized that Menzgold is basically a gold collectible enterprise with the sole aim of making profit for themselves whiles customers also get a share.
#3. ‘I’ve Not Regretted Investing In The Entertainment Industry’
This was a question asked by one of many journalists present at the venue of the ‘hsitoric’ press conference. Calmly the eloquent young business mogul said despite the troubles and persecution against him in the shadows of the Menzgold debacle, he’s willing to continue to where he left off.
He said right after this case, which is firmly in the hands of government, he’ll revamp Menzgold Media and put more vibrancy into it to benefit industry players.
#4. Government should ‘unfreeze’ his accounts so he can pay customers.
#5. He’ll give customers timeline for the payment if the government have mercy on him.
