She welcomed her first child into the world in March following the shock announcement of her pregnancy last December.
But taking to motherhood like a duck to water, Konnie Huq seems to be embracing her new role with open arms.
Pictured today (Wednesday) in south-west London the 37-year-old new mother proved to be very hands on with her son Covey Brooker.

Make-up free, Konnie beamed as she crouched over to check on her little boy.
Not enjoying the ride in his pushchair, the six-month-old made it clear to his mother that he wanted to be carried instead.
Aiding to her son’s request, the former Blue Peter presenter lifted Covey out of the stroller and continued the rest of their journey with him in her arms.

Dressed down, Huq donned a mint green loose fitting jumper which she wore over a grey top with a pair of jogging bottoms and black boots.
She wore her long raven hair down and placed a pair of sunglasses on top of her head.
Covey looked adorable in a grey hooded jacket, a patterned jumper, navy trousers and yellow socks.
The mother and son duo were accompanied on their journey by one of Konnie’s friends who was also pushing a buggy.

On July 26, 2010 Konnie got hitched to broadcaster and screenwriter Charlie Brooker in the Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.
The couple are often described as an odd pair because of their radically different personalities.
Charlie, 41, is described as a satirical pessimist while Huq has a clean-cut happy-go-lucky image but despite their opposite traits the pair are deeply in love.
In an interview with the Guardian last year, Konnie was asked, ‘What or who is the greatest love of your life?’ to which she replied, ‘My husband.’
At the time of Covey’s birth, Huq’s agent Jonathan Shalit has revealed the tot weighed in at 6Ib 2oz.
Announcing the news of the arrival of her bundle of joy in a statement Konnie said: ‘A real cutie. We are chuffed to bits, he is absolutely gorgeous!!’
Covey Brooker Huq is the first child for the former Xtra Factor presenter, who married Brooker after a nine-month romance.
