Luanda — The bishop of Caxito, Don Antonio Jaca, appealed Saturday in Cacuaco District, Luanda province, to parents and guardians to respect the vocations of their children.

The prelate was speaking during a mass in the ambit of the festivity of the patron saint St. John Baptist, which is celebrated as the day of Festivities of Cacuaco.

“For this, we can say that parents should protect the lives of their children, educating them in the Christian faith, because no one came into the world at random, but rather to fulfil a mission (…)”, he stated.

The respect for God, humility, honesty, justice and love for humanity are virtues that Don Jaca advised the faithful to practice.
