Nairobi — Awad Ahmed Hasharo, the chairman of Somali parliament’s committee for information on Friday accused the speaker of Somali parliament of breaking the national charter which the leaders should abide by it.

In an interview with Shabelle Media Network, Mr. Hasharo said the parliament speaker also broke the 4.5 formula which the transitional federal government is formed.

He spelled out the speaker can’t represent the people of war torn Somalia, saying he had committed very bad wrongdoing.

The official added that 165 members of the parliament had issued a motion against the speaker, but he turned a deaf ear.

He lastly called for the top leaders of the country not interfere in the activities and duties of Somali lawmakers.
