May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace.

Nollywood, here is another example of how you have failed to put your house in order. Too many great actors are perishing due to lack of care. Please do something about this, make it a must for every actor/actress to sign up to a compulsory health insurance scheme asap.

I weep when people die blc of things that can be cured if detected early. Nollywood is not well organized just like many other things in Nigeria. These men are living in poverty blc nobody call them for adverts or endorsement jobs. Even when they act as lead roles in films they are paid peanuts compared to what their younger partners recieve. It is too sad. They really need that health care insurance blc these old artiste have families who depend on them and their fees are just for their kids, it is not even enough. The man was a good actor, he really interpreted all his roles well that atimes I feel he is just acting naturally, blc he looked like a good man naturally. Rest in peace, papa, may God forgive you all ur earthly shortfalls and bless you with enternal rest. Pls let the guild do something to make sure this health care insurance scheme is put in place and handed over to people who will also pay out when needed. Waoh! poor man he doesn’t have a private jet to take him to Saudi, Germany etc. May God save us. But at the end when death comes, power, private jets and overseas treatment can’t stop it. Life is a teacher.
