Actress JJ Bunny’s family in the United State of America are planning to ship her Hummer H3 and Bentley cars to her in Ghana after she refused to heed her parents’ call return to America.
NEWS-ONE last week reported that the actress was trapped in Ghana after she had stayed in an Accra-based hotel for about seven months in the name of shooting movies.
Further information reaching this paper indicated that the actress was planning to buy a house in Ghana while her parents were planning to ship her luxurious cars down.
The cars have been packed at JJ’s Houston based home in the USA and nobody has been using it for over six months.
Her parents fear the cars might be out of shape before she returned to the USA; hence the decision to ship them down.
Bunny arrived in Africa last November to join Abdul Salam’s Venus Films to shoot a movie in Gambia.
After that production, she moved to Ghana in December. Since then, JJ Bunny has not returned to her US base.
Sources said JJ had become a hot cake as she had been getting scripts to act, a possible reason she has refused to return to the states.
She has already featured in over five upcoming Ghanaian movies and still has more to shoot.
It does not look like the actress, who has been lodging in a hotel around Spintex road in Accra, will be leaving soon. She travelled to Nigeria over the weekend for a movie production and is expected back in town this week.
Her latest movie titled ‘Trap In The Game’, starring Yvonne Nelson, Majid Michel and Frank Artus, will be released soon.
The title of the movie definitely echoes her current lifestyle in Ghana.
The movies have trapped her in Ghana and away from her family.
JJ Bunny has lived in Houston all her life and is described as a Nollywood/USA A-List actress.
She is also a recording artiste and a filmmaker who acted in her first feature film entitled ‘Caged’ in 2009.
She has successfully transcended into Nollywood and now Ghana’s film industry.
