Comic actor Steve Coogan certainly looked like he was enjoying his new role as he filmed scenes, yesterday, with on screen love interest, Tamsin Egerton.

The 46-year-old was seen getting to grips with the actress as they flirted through a scene on the streets of London while filming The King of Soho.

Coogan, who plays the head of one of the UK’s biggest porn empires, Paul Raymond, was suited and booted as he gave his co-star a kiss goodbye in the street.

Raymond, who became known as The King Of Soho, reportedly had an affair with red-head Fiona Richmond, who is played in the movie by Egerton.

While the charismatic Coogan wore a black suit with a blue tie, Tamsin, 23, showed off her long legs in a 1970s style mini dress.

The acting pair can be seen tenderly saying goodbye before the stylish Egerton jumps into her convertible car and drives off.

While the day starts off well for the property tycoon, it ends on a sour note as his wife, Jean, appears to catch him out with his mistress.

British actress Anna Friel, who plays the mistreated spouse, was seen last night sitting in an old Aston Martin car while her husband wines and dines his other sweetheart in one of his flats.

As Fiona realises they are being watched, she points out the stranger in the car to Paul, and he runs downstairs to try and explain to his wife what is going on.

Anna Friel’s character doesn’t seem to believe the excuses her on-screen husband is giving her and after the short confrontation she drives away, while a red faced Raymond attempts in vain to block her path.

Earlier this week, Coogan was seen filming some for very revealing scenes with Tamsin wearing a lot less clothing.

The pair were creating one of Raymond’s most famous publicity stunts which involved a white horse and very little else.

New role: Coogan plays Paul Raymond in new film The King Of Soho and the two share a strong resemblance

The comedian, who is most famous for
his Alan Partridge character, donned a seventies-style fur coat as he
put on the stunt in the middle of busy Soho.

Wearing a wig and a garish tie, Coogan bore an uncanny resemblance to the porn baron who passed away four years ago.

However, all eyes were on the lady he was escorting through the streets.

Scarlet woman: The scenes are based on a real-life event which saw Paul Raymond trying to publicise one of his shows at his famous Revuebar

Egerton’s locks covered her modesty as she straddled a white horse for the jaunt through Soho.

She wore a glittering red cowboy hat and matching knee-length platform boots for the parade.

It’s believed that Paul Raymond pulled the stunt in order to publicise one the of the shows at his famous Raymond’s Revuebar in Soho.

Shooting has been taking place in Soho for most of the week and
Imogen Poots is to star as his daughter Debbie, who became his
confidante later in his life, but died in 1992 from a heroin overdose.
