Preparations for the northern sector edition of the Skuuls Reunion is gathering momentum as old school folks in the Ashanti region and other parts of the country reminisce in the studios of Luv Fm.
Over eighty old school associations from across the country have registered to take part in the sixth edition of the annual Skuuls Re-union in Kumasi. Several others have expressed interest to be part of the event.
This year’s reunion will start with the ‘Home Coming Old Skuul Jam’ on Friday, 19th November and will be climaxed with a Thanksgiving Service on Sunday 21st November.
School associations will converge at the Ridge Park, Denyame on Saturday November 20 for the actual reunion to compete in sporting and other curricula that evoke funny memories of their school days.
The atmosphere is already reaching fever pitch at Luv FM as old students of various schools make studio appearances to give a hint of what they hope to showcase come Saturday.
Activities include jama and school anthem, rap and dance, 5-aside soccer, hurdles, gari soakings, Tug-of-Peace and other competitions.
Side attractions of this year’s Skuuls reunion include an oldies corner and a live musical concert.
